Better Yourself UK Modern Slavery Statement

Modern Slavery Statement

At Better Yourself, we are committed to promoting an ethical and responsible approach to our labour force. We have a zero-tolerance policy on modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement explains the steps we have taken in order to ensure that no form of modern slavery exists within our business or supply chains.

We are fully compliant with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and take all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that our suppliers comply with it too. We have implemented codes of ethics, rules and regulations relating to the use of forced labour which must be adhered to at all times by those supplying us goods or services. All potential suppliers are vetted before any agreement is made and must provide evidence that they adhere to these standards before any work can begin.

We regularly audit our supply chain in order to protect against any potential risk of modern slavery being present in our supply chains or business practices. Any breach would result in immediate termination of the contract and/or collaboration with authorities for further investigation where necessary.

To ensure that our staff are aware of the risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking, we offer appropriate training materials as part of their induction process when joining Better Yourself, as well as ongoing update sessions during employment.
